CREATION MYTH

Ometecuhtli y Omecihuatl the supreme couple lived in the 13th level sky they created the first and principal Gods Tlalauhqui Tezcatlipoca - Tezcatlipoca Red - Yayauhqui Tezcatlipoca - Tezcatlipoca Negro - Quetzalcoatl y Huitzilopochtli.
600 years passed after their creation and the two Tezcatlipoca older brothers told their younger brothers Quetzalcoatl and Huitzilopochtli to create fire and the sun, then right after they created the first human couple Oxomoco y Cipactonal they order him to cultivate the Earth and to her to weave, they also received grains to pronosticate the future outcomes and the weather and the destiny of man. Right after the two younger brothers divided time and created the days, and were grouped in 18 months, each of 20 days, making a total of 360 days adding what they call 5 extra days creating the solar calendar called Xihuitl.
Then they continued their work creating the lords of death and darkness and the underworld, Mictlantecuchtli y Micteccacihuatl forming the vital cycle of born, grow and death.
In the beggining Tezcatlipoca son of the Lady Ometecuhtli transformed themselves into the Sun The earth was populated by large giants that consume corn and roots, Quetzalcoatl was then jealous that Tezcatlipoca was ruler of the universe so he knocked him out of the sky, while being trowned out he was transformed into a Jaguar and destroy the earth in his path.
Then Quetzalcoatl took over the heavens, and created people that ate nuts, then Tezoatlipoca overthrew Quetzalcoatl and destroyed Earth in one great wind and the remaining people were turned into monkeys.
The Third time Tlaloc Master of Rain became the sun itself, Quetzalcoatl sent rain which flooded the Earth destroying must of mankind and the few survivors were turned into birds.
Then Chalchiuhticue the lady of water took over the sun and the fourth creation had began, but at the same time Earth was destroyed and those people who survived became fish..
Then the final creation ( Fifth Sun ) occured when in the heavens the Gods met and decided that they all must be sacrifice to become the new sun. Then the first one trew himself out
and became the sun, and it was created but it did not move, it needed the other gods to sacrifice in order to move, and the others followed and the sun moved acrossed the sky.
Then it was Quetzalcoatl who created people, created this by going into ( xibalba ) the underworld to collect the ancient bones, while escaping the gods of the underworld he falled and broke his bones mixing the acient bones with his blood and himself creating mankind. because the bones were all different sizes man and women were different..
